Submit a One-Act Play

Ever think you had what it takes to be the next Neil Simon? Why not find out? Every summer, Carrollwood Players showcases up-and-coming playwrights, aspiring directors and new actors to our stage in our annual One Act Weekend. In years past we have had over 400 submissions from all over the country as well as a few from overseas.

Scripts should be shorter than 20 minutes in length. As this weekend is family-friendly, we suggest against strong adult content and language. If you would like to have a play considered, please send a hard copy of the script along with a submission fee of ten dollars (checks or money orders made payable to Carrollwood Players -- do not mail cash) to:
